If you manage your rental with a property management system (PMS), connect it once and your site takes its nightly prices, availability and minimum stays from there automatically. It is also what lets guests pay by card on your site, because the site needs live prices to charge the right amount.
PMS sync is part of the Pro plan. We currently connect to Hosthub and Lodgify. Use something else? Email hello@directbookingpage.com and we will make it fit.
Before you start
- Get an API key from your PMS. In Hosthub and Lodgify you create it in the account or integration settings. Keep it private, it works like a password.
- Know which rental in your PMS matches this property. You will pick it from a list.
Step 1. Open Availability
- Sign in and open your dashboard.
- On the property card, click the ⋯ menu and choose Availability.
- Pick Connect a PMS.
Step 2. Choose your PMS and paste the key
- Under Choose your PMS, click Hosthub or Lodgify.
- Paste your API key and continue.
- We load your rentals from the PMS. Pick the one that matches this property and save.
What happens next
- Your site shows the PMS prices, free nights and minimum stays. We refresh them about every hour.
- If you also had iCal links on this property, the PMS takes over. One source per property.
- The Availability window now shows Your unified calendar link. Import it into your PMS so bookings paid on your site block the nights there and, through the PMS, on your OTAs.
- To take card payments, finish with How to take card payments with Stripe.
Something not working?
- The key is rejected: copy it again from the PMS, with no spaces at the ends. Some PMSs need the key enabled for external apps.
- Your rental is not in the list: the key may belong to a different PMS account, or the rental is not active in the PMS.
- Prices changed in the PMS but not on the site: wait up to an hour for the next refresh.
