You don't have to run your websites alone. Invite a partner, a family member, a co-host or your cleaning manager, and they can manage every website in your account with you. There is no limit on how many people you can invite, and it costs nothing extra.
Before you start
- Only the account owner can invite people. The owner is the person who created the account.
- The person you invite needs a Google account, because that is how everyone signs in to Direct Booking Page.
- Use the email address of their Google account. If they sign in with a different address, the invitation won't match.
- Someone who already has their own Direct Booking Page account can't join yours. Each person belongs to one account.
Step 1. Open your team settings
- Sign in and open your dashboard.
- Click Settings at the top of the page.
- Scroll to the Team card. You'll see everyone who is already in your account.
Step 2. Send the invitation
- Type the person's Google email address in the box that says colleague@example.com.
- Click Send invite.
They receive an email from Direct Booking Page with one button: Accept invitation. The email also appears under Pending invitations in your Team card until they accept it.
Step 3. They accept
- Your invitee opens the email and clicks Accept invitation.
- They click Accept with Google and sign in with the Google account you invited.
- That's it. They land in the dashboard and see all your websites right away.
How long is the invitation valid?
An invitation link works for 24 hours. If it expires, open your Team card and click Resend next to their email. That sends a fresh link, valid for another 24 hours.
Change your mind?
- To cancel an invitation that hasn't been accepted yet, click Revoke next to it. The link stops working at once.
- To remove someone who already joined, click Remove next to their name. They lose access immediately and get an email letting them know. You can always invite them again later.
Handing over the account
If someone else should be in charge, click Make owner next to their name. They become the owner, and you stay in the account as a regular member. Only the owner can invite and remove people, so make sure you mean it.
An owner can't leave the account while other people are in it. Hand over ownership first, or remove the other members, and then you can leave.
Something not working?
- "Wrong Google account": they signed in with a different address than the one you invited. They can sign out on that page and try again with the right one, or you can invite the address they used instead.
- "You already have an account": they created their own Direct Booking Page account earlier. They would need to leave it from their own settings page before joining yours.
- No email arrived: ask them to check spam, then click Resend. The sender is hello@directbookingpage.com.
- The link says it expired: click Resend to send a new one.
